Laura Linney

Laura Linney is an American actor who became famous for her portrayal of strong, yet vulnerable characters. Linney was born into a theatre family, her father, Romulus Linney was a playwright. Linney received her degree in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and afterward attended the Arts Theatre School in Moscow and graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City 1990. In 1990, she began the beginning of her Broadway career. The audience praised her for her performances in both Hedda Gabrieller and Six Degrees of Separation.
