Becki Newton
Becki was raised and born within Guilford (Connecticut) However, she originated from New Haven. Her parents are English and Czech origin. She began her career at local theaters. of European History. Following graduation, Newton then moved to New York City and landed many roles in television commercials with companies such as and the Olive Garden. Newton was the lead character Amanda Tanen in the comedy-drama series Ugly Betty from 2006 to 2010. Newton as well as the co-star Michael Urie co-hosted The Official Ugly Betty Blog.
