She currently lives in New York City. Chando was a student at Manhattan College when she became an actor. Chando is well known for playing Maddie Coleman from As the World Rotates, a tv soap opera she starred in between 2005 through 2007. She also played it in the final episode in 2009 for several months. Alexandra began her career as an actor in 2002 when she played Jenna Harper on the TV series House Blend. As the World Turns on CBS was her first television part following three years. Chando made her TV debut with True life (an American documentary) at the end of 2009. Later, in 2009 she was a guest on Sherri, a television show. Additionally, she was a part of two episodes of the American comedy-drama TV show Glory Daze as Annabelle. Her TV credits also include Castle as well as Hindsight.
