Alexa is a popular American singer and the songwriter. Her parents are of the singers Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley. Joel is an New York native who has followed in her parents' passion of fashion and music. At the age of 19 Joel started her first group of musicians. Her debut live show took place in Maxwell's Hoboken New Jersey. In the following several years, she rose to huge fame and eventually became one of the most promising musicians of our time. Joel's first extended play Sketches was released in the year 2006. She found a good footing in her career following the release of the EP with the help of Audio Bee. Since then she's had a few songs released and performed in numerous live events. Joel was first engaged in fashion while she was just a little girl. She was admitted in the hospital in December 2009 after inhaling the excessive amount of Traumeel. Following a full and complete recovery, she told the media of her intention to prevent her own suicide.
